Italian Celebrity Fashion Designer, Pamela Quinzi, known to the public as ‘The Cinderella of New York’ is the creator of the brand Kilame, a unique One of a Kind collection of luxury shoes, dresses, and accessories. Pamela’s designs are unique and many Hollywood’s celebrities love to wear Kilame shoes. Pamela Quinzi published her first book ‘The Cinderella of New York’ in January 2019 in New York, the story of how a pair of shoes changed her life! 

After the success of her book in America, in December 2019 Pamela launched the Italian version of her book ‘The Cinderella of New York. IL GRANDE SOGNO.’ 200 pages of her inspiring story and photos of her life and journey.

She decided to present the Italian book in Rome, Italy, the city where she was born and that she left years ago to follow her American dream. Pamela presented her book in the eternal city with an original tour between beautiful locations, monuments and places that inspired her career as a Fashion Designer since she was a young student dreaming about her future in the fashion world.

She started the tour from the iconic Spanish steps, dreamy location in the city, guest of the luxury Hotel Royal Suite Trinita’ dei Monti. 

‘When I was young this was the location of the most amazing runway in the world called ‘Donna sotto le stelle’, where designers such: Valentino, Versace, Chanel and many more together with top models such: Naomi Campbell, Claudia Shiffer, Cindy Crawford were walking down the stairs in gorgeous Haute Couture outfits. I was lucky enough to grow up here and watch the last Fashion show that was organized on the Spanish steps, dreaming of one day to become a Fashion designer and travel the world with my creations.” Pamela says.

Between her memories of her life growing up in Rome she continued her tour around the city in different places meeting old friends, talking about ‘what writing the book meant to her’ and remembering moments and feeling, a unique experience surrounded by art and history taking the ‘classic book presentation’ to another level. A presentation into a presentation, showing on her social media live places and parts of her incredible city. From the Spanish steps to the Trevi’s fountain, the Coliseum to Vatican City, a tour of Rome with a ‘real Roman’ telling her story chapter by chapter, place by place. A strong girl that always believed in her dreams and never gave up.

Pamela’s life was not easy; she faced many hard moments living so far away from home, like facing the unexpected loss of her dad few years ago. Passion and determination for her job over the years made Pamela’s designs famous worldwide from Italy, to New York to Hollywood. She moved from Rome to the Big Apple in 2009 by herself, working hard she established her brand in America. The purpose of her book is to inspire people to follow their dreams and never give up no matter what. A book about her journey in the Fashion world that saw her work featured in NYFW, Milan FW, LAFW, in International magazines, TV appearance and major Red Carpets such: Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmys, Grammy, and many more. For Pamela is always amazing seeing Celebrities, incredible and talented people wearing her designs. Pamela’s dream as a young designer growing up was to one day see her creations on Hollywood’s stars and as far as today her dreams became true.
